Mary's Journey

Survivor of Money Marriage & Peer Advocate · Age 19

Mary was given away at age 7 to settle a family debt under the money marriage tradition. For years she lived in forced servitude. Through Her Voice Foundation's rescue network, Mary gained freedom, learned fashion tailoring, and now mentors 40+ young girls in her community.

"I used to think my life ended at age 7. Today, I hold my child with dignity, I hold scissors in my hands, and no one can take my voice away."

Blessing's Second Chance

Teenage Mother & Secondary Student · Age 17

Becoming pregnant at 15 caused Blessing to be expelled from formal school. Her Voice Foundation provided childcare support, uniform starter packs, and tuition fees, allowing her to resume senior secondary classes top of her grade.

"When I held my baby, people said I was finished. Her Voice Foundation proved to me that motherhood is not the end of education."
